Every Disabled Child Matters Constituency Pledge // March 1st, 2010 // Constituency News

As a supporter of the Every Disabled Child Matters campaign, Gisela Stuart has formally pledged to meet regularly with local disabled children and their families, visit the services that they use and raise their issues of concern in Parliament.

Gisela said:

“It is important to ensure that disabled children, their families and the service providers all have the power to voice their concerns.  I have pledged to raise those concerns in Parliament to ensure that the appropriate rights and resources are available to this group.

I also intend to find out how funding is being used in my constituency to improve services for disabled children, young people and their families.”
