Moor Pool Festival // September 7th, 2010 // Constituency News
The Moor Pool Festival 2010 will take place on Sunday 12th September at the Moor Pool Hall, The Circle, as part of English Heritage Open Days. Entry is free.
The Festival is a celebration of Harborne’s unique and historic 100 year old ‘Garden Suburb’
The event will include stalls and refreshments and a performance by the Queens Park Sinfonia, who will be led by Rainer Gibbons the principal oboe with the CBSO.
In addition, The Moor Pool Residents Association will be holding their Festival dance on Saturday 11th September, with swing, jive and rock n roll entertainment by The Starlites. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets at £7.50 each are available from the Circle Newsagent or via the Moor Pool website.
