Woodcock Hill School visit to Parliament // June 28th, 2010 // Constituency News
Gisela met up with a group of Year 5/6 pupils from Woodcock Hill Primary School, during their recent visit to the Houses of Parliament.
Gisela said:
“The visit was arranged by the Education Unit at the House of Commons and included a tour of Parliament and a curriculum focused workshop. The workshop focused on a law making activity, whereby the students decide which law they would like to make and then they go through the Parliamentary law making process.
It was great to see them down here. The pupils and staff at Woodcock work hard and I was proud to welcome them to Westminster. I hope they will come again.”
